1. Dublin Zoo
Opened in 1813, Dublin Zoo is Ireland's largest zoo covering 59 acres of Phoenix Park. Some of the animals you will see are a blackbuck calf, a Sulaqesi-crested macaque, a giraffe, and a gorilla. Some hotels in Dublin may even offer packages that include discounts to the zoo so look out for them.

2. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
This bridge is located 23 meters above the Atlantic Ocean. It is a light rope bridge that connects Carrick-a-Rede island to mainland Northern Ireland. While walking across the bridge you can see seabirds such as: fulmars, kittywakes, and guillemots circle and dive. The bridge is connected to the main road by a short coastal footpath where you can view the local scenery.

Exhibits show the history of the Guinness advertising and features an interactive exhibit that promotes sensible drinking. In 2006 a wing was added to show the present day brewing process. On the seventh-floor Gravity Bar, visitors can enjoy a complimentary pint of Guinness.

The Book of Kells is a manuscript of the Gospel book in Latin. It has the four Gospels of the New Testament along with various prefatory texts and tables. It was created by Celtic monks around 800 AD. It is one of Ireland's national treasure. It is on display at the Trinity College Library located in Dublin. Normally on display is two of the current four volumes at a time, one shows a picture while the other shows a page of text.
